The Goats and Garments Project in Burundi is a practical initiative designed to help the poorest families in Ngozi and surrounding areas break free from the cycle of poverty. Over three years, 500 goats will be distributed to vulnerable households, with each family passing on the firstborn goat to another family, creating a multiplying impact through improved farming and income generation. Alongside this, sewing machines will be provided to support a tailoring project, equipping people with skills to make and mend clothes and earn a living. Together, these simple but powerful tools—goats and garments—will help restore dignity, strengthen livelihoods, and bring lasting hope to families and communities.
Your gift provides a goat for a vulnerable household. A gift which can multiply and bless other families as the firstborn kid is passed on.
